Oh, how STOKED I am to announce the launch of our BLOOM merch!! I have had this dream on my heart for a while, and thought what better time to launch our merch than springtime with the second issue of our Flourishing Heart Magazine!
The dream really came from Colossians 3:12-14 in the Message version. It says,
"So, chosen by God for this new life of love, dress in the wardrobe God picked out for you: compassion, kindness, humility, quiet strength, discipline. Be even-tempered, content with second place, quick to forgive an offense. Forgive as quickly and completely as the Master forgave you. And regardless of what else you put on, wear love. It’s your basic, all-purpose garment. Never be without it."
I wanted to create a collection of merch that would remind us to dress in the wardrobe God picked out for us. Something that would prompt you every time you wear it to think about your heart and your character and how you clothe your inner being. For we know that outward appearances fade and are fleeting, but it is our inner beauty that truly matters.
I believe that we were created to thrive in life. John 10:10 says, "I have come that you may have life, and have it abundantly." Once a plant or a tree has developed strong root systems, it is able to break through the ground and BLOOM. You may feel like you're walking through the wilderness - and maybe you feel as though there is no way out of the place you're in.
ISAIAH 43:18-19 says,
"Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland."
It is my biggest prayer that this collection of merch would be a reminder to you of God's promises. He makes a way where there is no way. And that dry, desert season of your life is the perfect place for God to cause you to BLOOM!
